The AT-10 was the most
produced of the Advanced twin-engine trainers. It was a four-seater, all-wood,
low-wing Monoplane. It resulted from a program undertaken in 1941/2 to conserve
essential metals for combat aircraft by building the trainer types of
non-strategic materials. The entire airframe, except for engine nacelles, was of
wooden construction.
